Where to Stay in Jupiter & Palm Beach Gardens, FL

I moved to Jupiter, FL in 2022 and before I closed on my house I checked out my fair share of hotels in the area. While I was initially frustrated at the lack of hotel options and that many were in need of updating, there are some great places I’ve discovered that I believe you will love too.

  1. Jupiter Beach Resort & Spa. If you want to stay directly on the beach, Jupiter Beach Resort is the best option in the area. It’s a full-service resort with beach access, a spa, oceanfront dining, and a beautiful pool area. It’s located just south of the Jupiter Inlet and close to many of the area’s best restaurants - a golf cart can take you to/from Love Street for nearby bars and restaurants. This is a great option if you want a classic Florida beach resort experience.

  2. PGA National Resort. While it’s not as central as some of the other hotels on this list, it’s one of my favorite resorts in the area thanks to its beautiful design and great on-property dining. The resort underwent a major renovation in 2022 and now features a large lobby bar, The Butcher’s Club steakhouse, and Sushi by Bou, an intimate omakase experience.

  3. Residence Inn by Marriott Palm Beach Gardens. This was one of my go-to hotels when I first started exploring my move to Jupiter. It’s newer, clean, and very convenient if you’re planning to spend a few days exploring the area. The location is central, parking is easy, and it’s smaller and more low-key than some of the larger resorts, which makes coming and going really simple.

  4. Wyndham Grand Jupiter at Harbourside Place. While I haven’t stayed here, this seems to be a go-to place for visitors traveling to the area for work. It’s a solid choice in a central location. Located within Harbourside Place, right outside the hotel you have a number of restaurants and shops next door - The Woods, Pura Vida, Calaveras, Subculture Coffee.

  5. Homewood Suites by Hilton Palm Beach Gardens. This was my favorite in terms of more affordable/chain hotels (I did not like The Hampton Inn, La Quinta, Marriotts in Jupiter, etc.). Homewood Suites was new, clean, and my room was large. It’s also located in Palm Beach Gardens which is more central if you would like to explore both Jupiter and Palm Beach.

  6. The Pointe Hotel Jupiter. A newer boutique hotel in Tequesta, the Pointe Hotel is a nice boutique option. It’s located on the Intracoastal and is reasonably priced.

  7. Airbnb / VRBO. Another great option is staying in a vacation rental. Jupiter and Tequesta have a ton of great homes and smaller guesthouses that can be perfect if you want more space. This can also be a great option if you're staying longer or visiting with a family or group.

Jupiter is one of the best places to visit in South Florida if you're looking for beautiful beaches, great waterfront restaurants, and a relaxed coastal atmosphere. Whether you choose a beachfront resort or a local vacation rental, it’s a great base for exploring the area.
